I must say this stands as one of the best things I have done with my photography. I never imagined feeling this way about seeing an actual print of a portrait I took.
Printing my work began for reasons other than watching YouTube videos. A few months ago, I attended a photography networking event and discussed prints with others. Everyone I spoke to said they printed their work. They also said it’s a great way to see the work in person. You can feel it rather than looking at an image through a phone or computer screen. So with that said I started to print my work, at home nothing fancy but its right there and easy for me to do.
So my plan is to print one portrait from every shoot I do and that’s the one that I would find my favourite or I think would look better as a print, and then I will keep in my folder and then over the years of shoot when I have enough physical prints I can then put into my own A4 photo book which would be an amazing thing to have a book of my own work for me to personally look at how my photography changed or progressed over the years.
With that said if you’re a photographer do you print your work? And models would you ever ask your photographer for print? Please do let me know with the comments section that will be below this.
Anyway that’s it for this blog, keep creating and keep that positivity, Thank you for reading.
